Parental cooperation is essential to the academic success of students.
A significant meeting between parents and school authorities took place on June 1, 2025, at Rubavu Technical College TSS. The meeting was attended by the school leadership and the parents. The discussions emphasized that quality education must be respected and supported by all stakeholders. The Legal Representative, Mr. Bayingana Jean Marie Vianney, highlighted that a student’s journey to success involves three pillars: the family, the society(school), and the nation in general. Each of these plays a vital role in shaping a child's future.
Parents were strongly encouraged to closely monitor their children’s academic progress and personal development on a daily basis. Active involvement at home, including regular communication with the school and supporting learning at home, was stressed as a key factor in students' overall growth. The school believes that when parents actively engage with the educational process, it significantly enhances students’ performance and discipline.
In other positive developments, Rubavu Technical College TSS has been officially designated by NESA as a national examination center for trades such as Tourism, Food and Beverage Operations, Automobile Technology, and Electronics and Telecommunications. This recognition is a result of the school’s commitment to high educational standards and well-equipped training facilities.

The meeting concluded with a reminder for parents to pay school fees promptly, as timely payment is essential for the smooth operation of the school. Parents were also treated to refreshments and had the opportunity to tour various workshops, where they witnessed firsthand the impressive skills and progress of their children.
